Finding Purseweb Spider (Sphodros abboti) and how to tickle them out, using a small paintbrush. Purseweb spiders build a tubercle web at the base of trees. We find the paintbrush method to work the best without destroying their homes.  On this night outing. We also see a Bald-faced Hornet nest. The coolest part about the night is how the biggest Purseweb spider went back down into its web.
