Dark romance and dubious consent or non consent in dark romance books is a hotly disputed topic. Does noncon belong in romance books? Growing up in purity culture, IFB, and evangelical christianity, gave me a different view of consent. And is the reason why I think I enjoy dubcon in some romance books. I made this discussion video to explain what growing up in purity culture did with my psyche, and how it relates to romance books. I was nervous to make this video, but I hope it's informative and some people can relate to it.
