“Soar” represents the moment when structure begins to dissolve and instinct takes over. The piece is built around a rhythmic pulse that feels almost suspended, constantly lifting and resetting itself. Layered phrases between sitar and guitar unfold in widening arcs as the instruments answer one another. As the composition develops, the rhythm stretches and breathes, creating the sensation of gliding rather than driving forward. A subtle groove carries the feeling of creative flight: the moment when discipline, years of training, and collaboration align, and the music seems to rise on its own wings.
