Some of the biggest names in Punjabi music got their starts at weddings, dance competitions, and campuses across Canada.
An example is producer Intense. In high school, he first experimented with music by making Punjabi remixes and sending them to his friends on MSN. By 16 years old, he was sneaking into clubs to DJ and working the wedding circuit to get a feel for his own sound. It wasn’t long before he had the idea to become a producer himself. Today he’s produced hits for some of the world’s biggest Punjabi music artists.
