First run in the Puma Magnify Nitro 3. This year, the Magnify gets 100% Peba and a whole lot of it. But Peba can mean a lot of things depending on how a brand uses it. And for this shoe, Puma has tweaked the midsole to make it match what they were trying to accomplish with this max cushion shoe. It’s comfy without being excessively squishy. It’s cushioned without being heavy. I’d say it reminds me of a Vomero 18 but with a lot more comfort under the forefoot. I have some initial thoughts on how this shoe might be different from the MagMax, but I’d prefer to refresh my recollection and run again in the MagMax before I commit any thoughts to paper.
