You can hear a lot of explanations about what makes one movie good and another movie bad. But not nearly as many about what makes one movie great and another just good. Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood are two movies that fit in those categories, and I think by analyzing the writing and other issues involved with them, we can show how that line is actually drawn.
