In this tutorial I will show you how to create a pull thread text animation in After Effects manually. This technique comes under Advanced Motion Design but I have broken it down step by step so anyone can follow along.

• Setting up the composition
• Creating text using the pen tool
• Using trim path to animate lines
• Adjusting vertex points manually to simulate the thread pulling effect
• Controlling animation speed using keyframes
This is a fully manual process so no plugins are required. Just After Effects and a little patience.
