I can't believe how long it's been since I've uploaded, let alone done a personal project. Last year was really really rough, y'all. And if I'm being honest when it comes to editing, it's sort of felt like I've been beating a dead horse for several years already.
I always have such a hard time getting any video done, I almost never feel really inspired, and I'm unhappy with the final product just about every time.
I don't want to let this part of me go, even if there's only a small part of it left. But I feel like I was left behind a long time ago. I started this video around August, a month after the movie came out, and it took me this long to throw some text on it and use Karissa's coloring, like I always do(thanks for that by the way babe).
I don't know. I feel like I'm at a standstill with this and I don't know how to push forward. I know I could take a break, but I truly think that would cause more detriment to my growth, yet I don't know how to just force myself into it so I CAN grow.
I know lots of other veterans have felt/do feel this way, but I think the difference is that people actually care if you guys are editing lol. I know that sounds bad but with as small as my channel is, I could just go away and no one would really notice. I mean, that's pretty much what I've been doing the last several years.
Anyway. I don't really have a good conclusion for this or a question that I'm asking to be answered. But advice is always welcome.
As a side note, I really did enjoy making this video in the moments that I wasn't stressing over a dumb perceived deadline, and I am happy with the outcome I think. I hope you guys are too.
