On Thursday, February 13, 2025, Pulitzer on the Road was in Stockton, California for journalism events at San Joaquin Delta College.
That afternoon, three Pulitzer Prize winning journalists met with students from the journalism, media, film and writing departments at Delta College for a conversation on reporting, career paths, and how they found their beat as reporters: Caitlin Dickerson of The Atlantic (2023 winner for Explanatory Reporting), Anna Wolfe of Mississippi Today (2024 winner for Local Reporting), and Nicole Carroll of Newswell (2018 staff contributor at Arizona Republic, winner in Explanatory Reporting). The conversation took place in Delta's Dreamers Success Center.
Later that evening, the same journalists were on the stage for a community event in Delta College's Tillie Lewis Theater. They were in conversation with Marjorie Miller of The Pulitzer Prizes. A video to that event will be made available soon.
