An experimental series of flexible storage systems, used on the body and in the house

PUFFA BAG is a collection of objects that are meant to store ones belongings, from two futuristic fruit baskets, a couple of shopping bags and an experimental bag that is worn on ones sleves. Like a puffer fish, it‘s structure is flat, but it can extend rapidly any time.

Made from polyutherane nettubes, the aesthetic is simple and clean, the net lightweight and the structure flexible and durable. It comes in a bright yellow and an ultramarine blue, the assigned colours to the according nettube size.

Making use of the inherit qualities of the nettube, videlicet (namely) the antiproportional stretch of height and width, when weight is added, one can transport long, slim objects and vice versa. When standing, PUFFA BAG holds objects through it’s natural stiffness and can expand it’s structure extensively, when loaded. Additionally, the net structure let‘s dirt fall trough and allows one to see the interior.

One can simply throw a flat PUFFA BAG in ones car, bagpack or bike basket and take it out whenever one needs to carry cargo.

Alternative use cases are gardening work, trash bag systems and outdoor bags.
