This removal request to remove one (1) public shade tree at 135 Dudley St, Roxbury is for a mixed use residential/commercial development located between the Boston Public Library and the B-2 police station in Nubian Square. A total of 292,150 gross square feet is planned in two buildings of nine and four floors including 170 multi-family units, and 5,785 sf commercial space, and 125 garage parking spaces. The primary curb cut for entry into the garage is located along the Dudley Street frontage which will require the removal and replacement of the following Public Shade Tree:
• One (1) Elm tree measuring 11 inches DBH (diameter at breast height).
