We went hunting out on some public land in WI. Much of my focus on this public property has been further back, but we decided to check out a potentially overlooked spot closer to the road. After scouting our way in and finding fresh sign on the edge of a tamarack swamp and old clearcut, we found success on a really good sized doe.
