The Director of Public Health is urging students between the ages of 18 and 25 who study in the UK to take advantage of the GHA's Meningitis B vaccine programme ahead of travelling.
The rollout follows an outbreak of meningitis among university students in Kent earlier this year, which resulted in two deaths.
Dr Helen Carter was on Gibraltar Today; she told Kelly Anne Borge that prevention was better than cure.
