About 15 years ago I was installing some plant and machinery in a local factory . A guy who worked there asked me if I could repair his Boss Sequencer. He used it for his backing tracks as a Pub singer. He performed soul classics like motown and stuff. He said he knew I was also a musician as he had seen me playing bass in a local music production.
He asked if I could write him a theme tune to play as he came on stage.
I said I have never used a sequencer before and don`t know much about soul music, but I like a challenge . The repair took half an hour so that was the easy part . luckily it was compatible wit my midi keyboard. So after reading the instruction manual I gradually put together a chord progression and programmed it into the sequencer . I played the melody over the top on my keys in real time. I did it in one take a miracle for me.LOL. #adele,#tribute
