Dr. Mohamed will give an overview of the recently updated ACGME common program requirements to include psychological safety as a core principle. As a result, residency programs and academic institutions need to evaluate and implement practices to sustain a safe culture.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to define psychological safety, explore barriers to safety, discuss the impact of creating a culture of safety, and identify methods for fostering psychological safety in the learning space.
