Seagulls Gather | Psycho by Robert Bloch Book Review @SeagullsGather | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
My review of Robert Bloch's 1959 Novel 'Psycho'. This book was later made into one of the most famous films ever by Alfred Hitchcock.
Mary Crane arrives at Bates Motel with $40,000 in stolen cash. The motel is run by Norman Bates, a loner with a terrible secret.
Can the novel rise above the more famous movie? Can it still be enjoyed when it's shocks and twists have been made famous in other media?
