I figured I would pick up the new Sony PSVR 2 PC Adapter and set it up to give myself one more way to play Steam VR games on my PC...but wow did it NOT go as planned. So have a PSVR 2 review along with a PSVR 2 PC Adapter review...because this Sony PlayStation product might need more time on the development table!
Note: I tested TWO PC's, six Display Port cables, every USB port on both systems and every Display Port port on my GTX 3080 Ti...and it was a constant mess of a situation. There may be some best PSVR 2 games on PS5....but the best VR games / best Steam VR Games def wont be playing on MY PVSR 2 headset anytime soon! PlayStation VR2 is NOT working...so now PSVR 2 PC adapter setup guide today! or PSVR 2 PC adapter tutorial...because it just would NOT work
List of troubleshooting : uninstalled and reinstalled software 3x times, restarted in between each round. Uninstalled and reinstalled USB drivers for PC. Updated to most recent NVIDIA drivers, confirmed power management on USB was set to not sleep, was NOT using a USB hub, tested with no other USB devices (minus mouse and keyboard) connected.
