We all make mistakes. If we confess our sin to God and turn from our evil ways... He is slow to anger and quick to forgive. Often, it's best to not focus on the mistake but on Him to help strengthen you in order that you may go and sin no more. Our prayers offered up to God in the Spirit are as burnt offerings and our Praise and Worship towards Him are as the sacrifices of old. Jesus shed His blood and gave His body up to be broken for our sakes. We have an eternal Hope and Promise in that what He starts... He will finish. Let not our hearts be troubled as we work out our own salvation, between ourselves and God, with fear and trembling. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God! Let us keep our Holy reverence for Him front and center. When we fall short of the Glory, let us admit to God that shortcoming and ask for more of His Grace and Mercy to uphold and strengthen us in the Spirit. We walk our walk of faith in the Spirit while residing temporarily in these vessels of flesh. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Fortunately, when we are weak... He is made strong. To God be the glory, the honor, and the power forever and ever! Now, draw your glory and honor from Him as you Stand in the Power of His Might. God will be your refuge, your high tower, and your fortress! Go forth as more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ who strengthens you!
Psalm 141
A Psalm of David.
1 Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me;
give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense;
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
3 Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth;
keep the door of my lips.
4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing,
to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity:
and let me not eat of their dainties.
5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness:
and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head:
for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places,
they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
7 Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth,
as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.
8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord:
in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me,
and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets,
whilst that I withal escape.
Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
