PSA: Crystal Radio-Bad Earphone Pt 3 **FIXED!!!** (4K) @tsbrownie

I had a crazy crystal radio fail that was very difficult to track down. I found 2 fixes, one is so-so (and costly), the other is first rate (and cheap).

We don’t want parents and grandparents to have a disappointing time with kids, or to discourage any future techies getting their start with crystal radios. Hopefully this information will help people deal with the bad ones.

NOTES:
Don't tie a big knot in the wires. I had to redo one of mine because the knot was pushing hard on a diaphragm and dulling the sound levels.
