Distinguished Iraq War Journalist Dahr Jamail now turns his focus to the accelerating world wide climate disruption. He journeyed across the planet to see and meet the people who know first hand the ongoing devastation and what can be done. Alaska, Glacier National Park, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, the Amazon rain forest He writes passionately about this in his book - The End of Ice: Bearing Witness and Finding Meaning in the Path of Climate Disruption. In this talk Dahr describes his love for mountaineering on Denali and how he became fully engaged. He notes it is the children who are taking the lead and we are obligated to help them.
