A couple of PRS guitars on the cheap. I suggested there weren't any low end starter guitars in the 60's. Oh contraire! My 1st bass was a Framus Strato which was like $125 used. But also Hagstrom's & such. Inexpensive & reasonably well built. Back then of course I wanted a Beatle bass but Hofner's were real expensive. I found a German made Klira for cheap. There were some sort of lower end Fenders like the Mustang series. & while Epiphones were on the market they really weren't any cheaper than their Gibson counterparts.
