SECOND NOTE: This was sketched around the same time as Providence Part 1 (like. the same day). So a lot of this is from July-August of 2022! I did fix up a few sketches, but you can only do so much haha
I am so happy to have gotten this done! I know the first Providence didn't do too well, but I'm of the mindset that since I already sketched this, I should get it done.

Story: Cinder is the healer of Frost Nation. After the end of the Pine-Bog Civil War, Cinder begins to notice an uncomfortable shift in her beloved Nation. Under the rule of Cranesight, who's personality has done a complete 180, Frost becomes a nation akin to a modern day cult.
Cinder's troubles are only amplified during the first night of the War of Nations. It is at that dreaded gathering that she acquires Boar Vision (vision that allows her to see the infamous God of 'War', Boar). Fearful of what Boar's words mean, she seeks the advice of her brother: Religious Leader Cobrastone. Unfortunately for her, Cobrastone doesn't have the best intentions with her knowledge.

A Shattered Star synopsis:
The civil war between Pine Nation is over. As agreed upon, half of Pine Nation would be split into Bog Nation: to be led by Canarylight. As Sootpounce, the new leader of Pine Nation, announces this news, she also announces the death of her former leader- Diggerstar- due to a tragic accident. Frost Nations leader Cranesight, heartbroken by the loss of his beloved, starts to suspect Canarylight for her death.

So naturally I had to do em for this MAP of mine!!
Go watch them and ignore the rotten tomatoes rating. Movie critics need to learn that these movies are FOR KIDS and they are still enjoyable as fun movies as an adult. Would I want to pay $50 for my family to see this? No but Id pay a subscription for this + other movies

good riddance to this horrible year
also YEAH i can animate yall! I dont do it often bc I often end up (like all animators do) making one of the worst animations that Im so displeased with and then I just feel like a failure.
Encanto really helped me break out of this just because of how fluid the whole movie is! It really looked like the animators had LOADS of fun with the song and art direction which in turn made the animation look super bouncy and just AAHH amazing. Hence why I decided to do a bit of an animation test with an Encanto song
This is of course nowhere near perfect, but this is honestly the best animation Ive done lipsync wise like.. EVER so I will sit here and be proud and noone will take that from me!
For this I tried 3 different ways of animating, middle one as u can kind of see did not work out as well as I wanted to but the first and last bits of animation are stellar! Helps me know what to go for in the future ^^
And if you guys like my animations please tell me because I would do more animation if I felt people preferred them over my PMV work
