When you need to rip or bevel a workpiece standing on edge vertically against the rip fence, you need the extra support of an auxiliary tall fence to prevent the workpiece tilting. Adding a tall fence to SawStop's T-Glide Advance rip fence is incredibly easy: just attach a tall panel to the dovetail groove along the front of the aluminum fence face using the dovetail wedges or T-bolts. This process also works for attaching any type of jig or fixture. Here's how to do it.
