for equine idol.
i would have made it longer, but the time limit was 20 seconds fml.
(also fuck you youtube, wmm did not say it was 22 seconds, hope thats okay erin?)
what do i look for in my editing idol?
well to me, for someone to be "idolized" in editing, they have to do one thing. inspire.
yeah its good if they can edit to the beats and make it flashy and stuff, but that's not the most important thing.
a youtube editor should inspire others to edit. they should inspire others to go out and do something. they should, with their videos, be able to get someone through a rough time, make them believe in themselves.
if someone is being idolized for just their effects, then well, i dont really see them as a true editor.
i could go and add tons of effects to this, and make you not be able to see the clips, but i wanted you too feel the emotion behind the clips.
i want you to feel what im feeling, and experience, through my videos, what im experiencing.
i want to be able to help people with my videos, and inspire them and change their point of view on their lives.
i edit to express myself, not really for entertainment. its my way of getting my feelings out, because to tell you the truth, im not that great at just saying them outloud.
and if you don't believe that this is what an editor should be idolized for? then thats fine with me, its your opinion.
but my main goal, is overall to help someone. i edit for myself, but i post my videos for you guys, my subscribers. without you, i'd be nothing.
i hope when i edit, that i would be able to help out someone, even if its just one person, because that would be better than nothing.
and i hope you guys see me as your editing idol.

its the easiest thing in the world to do.
but to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart,
that's true strength.
never give up. giving up never accomplishes anything. where would have anyone have gotten if they had just given up when things got rough?
we've all got obstacles we have to overcome in life, some bigger than others, but that's just what makes us our own person.
so what if you fail? so what if you don't accomplish it? atleast you will be able to say that you tried. and then you wont wonder in 20 years what would have happened if you didnt give it your all, if you didnt go for it.
live without regrets, because even if it doesnt feel like it, everything happens for a reason. aim high, and follow your own dreams, no one elses. its your life to live, not anyone elses.
and so what if you got haters? prove them wrong. show the world that you can do something great.
but mainly, live in the moment, and be happy with it. live every moment like its your last, because who knows how many moments you'll have. always smile, dont take anything for granted. be happy for the opportunities you have, and make sure you tell anyone youre close too, how much you mean to them.
