Some time ago, I think almost 1 year now 😅 a colleague asked me if I had this kind of wallet in stock.
She put in my hands this old italian-made (looks like so but not sure) wallet with a small foldable coin stash under the cards panel. I found it so smart that I wanted to reproduce it.

I made a first prototype for which I need to make some adjustments, as usual 😁

Sometimes, from the initial idea to the first good version, it can take me 1 year for the simple reason that I test (and sometimes fail) the goods I make, I also because it's not my main work, just a hobby.

Anyways, here is a small part of my process.

It reminds me this commenter on YouTube who once told me my creations were not original. Well, I'm not looking to reinvent the wheel every time I craft. At some points a wallet's a wallet. A bag's a bag.

Sometimes I reproduce things from the existing market, sometimes from a market too old to be in production like this wallet, but I make sure it fills a need and a function. Originality will wait, en if I'm pretty sure my Egg bag was original enough.
