Prototype stand for Kristal's latest project. Some pretty simple, but interesting gearing going on here. The secondary rotation doesn't engage until the stand is fully raised. It also retracts seamlessly despite the main drive gear being disengaged at full height. This is because there is a secondary drive, using a clutch gear (mostly hidden bottom left), that engages as the gear rack disengages from the main drive. This allows a single crank to drive all the motion without any binding issues.
