Thank you for all the support over the years. Reaching 5K followers on a channel I started just to share stuff with my friends wasn't something I was expecting some years ago.
About this remix: I absolutely love the vanilla proto track and it is one of my favorite songs on the OST. However, a lot of people don't enjoy the happy feel of the original and I receive lots of requests to make an FM Makeover of Act 2.
I then thought it would be a fun exercise to then rework my Act 1 remix into Act 2! So, this is how it turned out :) I thought it would be interesting to make the very start a bit darker than the original to echo the fact the base is literally going down as you progress.
There's still light at the end of the tunnel, however, so even though I snuck some minor chords in previously major-only sections I made sure to keep the happy elements whenever possible.
