Some people have a tendency to reach a bit too far when throwing a metaphor into a piece of writing for good measure. The whole "Go big or go home, who cares if it makes sense or not?" approach is great for rappers and J.D. Salinger, but let's face it: you probably aren't either of those. Stick with my previous advice I've given on many points of grammar: when in doubt, leave it out.
Note: Since people seem insistent on pointing out that this video is filled with similes, let me point out that all similes are metaphors. Not all metaphors are similes, but all similes are metaphors. Thank you for your cooperation. ;-D

This video was an experiment of sorts. I wanted to try a multi-angle sketch with my new lighting setup, but I didn't want to try cloning or multiple characters yet. Regarding the content, I'd love to say that I had this video in mind for the last in the series of "Lessons From The Mundane," but I'd be lying. I was racking my brain for an idea last night, and that frustration with not coming up with one became the idea itself. I'm quite happy with it.
