Moses Forsook the Riches of Egypt — A Verse that Shatters the Prosperity Gospel
Hebrews 11 tells us that Moses, though raised as Pharaoh’s adopted grandson with access to unimaginable wealth and privilege, forsook the treasures of Egypt to identify with God’s people. He could have lived in comfort and power, but he chose obedience to God over earthly gain.
