Light starts to stream through my window pane, coloring clouds of dawn.
Light of dawn keeps increasing till all the dark is gone.
Just like a child in a mother's arms, soothed with a gentle touch,
rays of dawn soothe my spirit, raising my hopes so much.
Once in a while in my darkest hours, when I am full of fear,
Dawn returns to remind me, that I am still loved here.
Red turns to grey during nighttime hours.
Then, dawn reveals the colors of the pretty garden flowers
Dawn is a new beginning that brushes off hopeless thoughts and sadness.
And it warms my heart, just to know, each new day can start with gladness.
Here, in the light of morning, I seem to sense possibilities dawning.
Then with boldness, shining bright, my new day moves on, just like the dawn.
