On April 17, 2021, YouTuber Hypenite, who changed his name to BDZ, illegally live-streamed the Jake Paul vs Ben Askren boxing event, accumulating more than 120,000 live viewers and becoming one of the biggest live streams all across YouTube that day. What BDZ did was pirating, which is a federal crime, by live-streaming the Jake Paul vs Ben Askren boxing event, which was a pay-per-view. YouTube did nothing to stop BDZ's illegal activities, allowing BDZ to escape a copyright strike and his crime. Today, I wanted to make a YouTube video explaining BDZ's illegal activity, hoping YouTube will finally take action to his YouTube channel as they should have during the pirated live stream.
