In its inception, Sonic Heroes garnered mixed reviews from the fanbase. It was polarized for its slippery controls, marathon-like levels, and a heavier emphasis on combat. I'm here to show that ALL of these things are only an issue assuming the player hasn't developed the skills necessary to play the game as it was designed to be played. In this video, I explain the ins and outs of what makes Sonic Heroes an intricately complex and a fundamentally amazing Sonic game. This recording was done on October 19th of 2023 after more than a year of not having fully beaten the game. No practice was done at all before this recording, and this was my first full recording attempt. Whether anyone decides to believe that or not is purely up to them, but it doesn't matter to me since I know in my mind that I'm telling the truth! I hope you guys enjoy this video and gain a new perspective on why Sonic Heroes is an amazing 3D Sonic game.
