This isn't really useful unless you are very low on health and items and the alien drops behind you, but I was just interested in how feasible it is to actually pull off the trick at the end of this section after going through without saving. I had to cut it pretty close here with turning around to threaten the alien but this is more of a console thing due to limited turning speed.
