The pronunciation of を is the same as お.

「を」 is called 「くっつきのを」 in some places to differentiate from お.
「くっつき」 comes from the verb 「くっつく」to stick to something because を is mainly used as a particle, which always follows a noun.

In other places,
を is called
「わをんのを」「わ行のを」←you'll understand when you look at a hiragana table. を appears in the わ column（＝わ行：わぎょう）

「下のを」
下( under or below ) here means を that comes later
