I know I know.. I'm late to the game (pun intended).. I honestly don't do a lot of gaming, so it's a wonder I got into Undertale at all! In fact, I probably wouldn't have EVER played it, had it not been for all the lovely people requesting an Undertale song! And to those people who made that request... THANK YOU!! Wow.. What an awesome game! The story, the flow, the lore! I have so much to say about it, but I'll refrain cause I'm sure nobody gives a crap... :-P
ANYWAY! I figured I'd write a song about Toriel, because (SPOILERS) the moment Frisk leave the RUINS is the first part of the game that got me to feel... This song is written from Toriel's perspective.. How lonely she must have been. How happy she was to meet a new friend. A second chance at a family. At happiness. And how scared she must have been to lose it all so quickly.. I imagine the overwhelming pain she must have felt when she blocked the way to protect you.. Talk about tough love! (And yeah, I made her turn to dust... You can choose to take that symbolically or literally. ;-P)
Anyway.. If you haven't played the game yet, and have six hours to spare, I highly recommend it! Nice to see an Indi game holding it's own against the big wigs, too! Good on ya Toby Fox!
(My favorite character is Asriel by the way! So sad. So cute. So SAD!! True Pacifist ending FTW!)
