Promethean was a level that I thought I would absolutely hate. It is very gimmicky and has horrible balancing. But, as I hesitantly started playing, it actually turned out to be a pretty enjoyable experience. Once I learned the click patterns, everything felt pretty natural to play, and it only got a little annoying from zero. The bad thing about this level is that it is extremely back half heavy. The level pretty much starts at 50%, and with the hardest part being the very last ship, it can be frustrating to die earlier in the level and not get there very often. I only died to the end ship 4 times, and I would consider that pretty lucky, so that probably contributed to my enjoyment. Anyways, Promethean wasn't as bad for me as other people say it is, and I'd honestly recommend it if you want to improve at ship.
