I saw on twitter that Aidan said that both of the characters did have a tiny crush on each other as kids. The director probably shared that info with the actors because the softness definitely showed in their scenes. It's just endearing to me, that's all :) so if you find this pairing weird I completely understand, as this edit can also be viewed as a brotp or whatever :P

Ive been waiting for this movie for so long!!! Saw it twice in theaters, both dubbed and subbed and I absolutely loved it. I read the manga for it about a year ago, so it was super cool to see everything animated. Cant wait for him to return to the JJK series!!
Yutas my favorite character in JJK. I just adore him. I always have a soft spot for protagonists who are burdened by their abilities. His story and his story with Rika are eerie, and I DIE for eerie yet bittersweet stories. I might remake this when I get my hands on the Blu-ray release.
