Tens of Thousands of people are set to gather in St. Louis later this month for the Beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. The American-born Church leader spent decades evangelizing through books, speeches, television and the radio. Dr. Matthew Bunson, vice president and editorial director for EWTN News, says Archbishop Sheen was a “pro-life prophet” because, starting in the 1940s, he envisioned the damage that would be done to America through abortion and birth control.
