In this stream VOD, I began my first ever extinction mode playthrough in Project Zomboid's Build 42.15 update. This new gamemode doesn't adjust much at first, but the changes quickly become apparent as night falls. Zomboids become ravenous at night in the extinction mode, with added aggression, and random sprinters appearing. Additionally, at all times, they have more health, and are much smellier, making corpse sickness a real concern. Add to that the additional alarms throughout the map, and survival won't be guaranteed.
I brought in a new hero to tackle this challenge - the most unlikeliest of candidates: Sally Snuggles. She's been sheltered her entire life, watching nothing but Hello Kitty and baking cupcakes for years. The concept of violence isn't something she understands. She'll have to learn though if she hopes to take on extinction mode. Can we survive with 0 combat skill?
