Male mosquitoes do not suck (blood)!

Male mosquitoes do not bite or transmit disease. They feed on plant juices for survival. Female mosquitoes, on the other hand, need protein from blood for the development of their eggs. They seek out and bite hosts such as humans, and may transmit diseases in the process.
