Despite this being the first ever concept art of this character, she's been an idea for right around 6 years now. Because she was only hinted at during book 3, I never prioritized drawing her until now.
I was in a funk not working much, so I needed a project to re-ignite that fire within me, and what better way to do that then to introduce a new character.
So just to give you a basic summary of this character. Her name is "Christy Chambers." Her alias as a hero is "The Cricketeer." She was a part of a project called "Masp." Masp is a real scientific term that refers to the silk of a spider. So yes, you guessed it! This is Exitium's version of "Spider-Man."
No Way Home just slammed at the box office, so now was the right time to reveal this character. I also take a lot of inspiration from the Xbox 360 & PS3 Bionic Commando, Just Cause, and Masked Rider. I love the idea of a bionic grappling arm sort of like what Samus Aran lugs around, mixed with some synthetic spider silk and a rad zentai costume!
