Hello everyone!!
I'm back at Project Life today! Now this may be a page from a few years ago, but never mind that little detail, ha!! These photos are from a day we spent at Reed Gold Mine here in NC. I remember going there on field trips when I was a kid and I wanted to make sure I took Calen there. It's a gold mine that is no longer active but you can explore the mines and the museum as well as have your hand at panning for gold. We found gold! The tiniest speck of gold, but it was gold all the same!
I love capturing moments like this day in my album. I'm not sure if we will ever take Calen back to this particular gold mine, we will probably go other places, but it's a place I loved as a kid so I wanted to make sure to share it with him. And maybe one day when he is looking through my albums he'll remember it and want to take his kid or kids there for a day!
