In this video I test budget Werebear Druid weapon options against Tier 0 Diablo Clone in Project Diablo 2 Season 12. After discussions in the PD2 Discord about higher-end setups, I wanted to see how more realistic early-season weapons perform without ethereal bases, high-end slams, or expensive jewels.
All weapons used are non-ethereal with maximum sockets, filled with affordable IAS and Enhanced Damage jewels to reflect a practical ladder-start setup. The focus is on stacking maximum fire resistance, fire absorb, and physical damage reduction while maintaining strong attack speed breakpoints.
The three weapons tested are:
Messerschmidt’s Reaver – the most consistent and well-rounded option
Hellslayer – extremely high damage with excellent stat bonuses
Tomb Reaver – strong utility with resistances and undead damage
The rest of the gear prioritizes survivability, using Shaftstop, Verdungo’s, Spirit Keeper, Raven Frost, Lava Gouts, Nokozan Relic, and Dwarf Star. Skills are focused on Werebear Maul, Lycanthropy, Heart of the Wolverine, and Oak Sage.
This showcase demonstrates that Diablo Clone can be reliably farmed on a budget, using accessible gear early in the season.
