In this video, I test out a budget Barbarian build in Project Diablo 2, taking on Uber Tristram and DClone without expensive gear or random resist charms. After trying a Maul Werebear on a budget, I wanted to see if a Barbarian could perform similarly — and it was surprisingly easy! Imagine what’s possible with slightly better gear.
This run was done on Single Player Plugy, using simple Plugy charms to simulate resistances. Aside from that, the gear is easily obtainable, and the Oath runeword is just Pul + Mal. All equipment is unslammed, so there’s room for even more resistances and stats if you improve the gear.
Whether you’re a beginner looking to try Barbarian Ubers or a veteran wanting a low-cost setup, this video demonstrates how effective a budget build can be for both Uber Tristram and DClone.
