PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with The Reckoning Episode from Atmospheric Extinction for DOOM 2 by Velvetic on the Man and a Half difficulty level, Chaotic Random spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). The Reckoning episode contains three very nicely looking maps to play for you, all of them can be difficult because some places on maps are quite to overcome and you must think a while how to not get killed while moving. First map begins with you in the middle of the small room with several monsters in the next room, you can also activate a secret instantly by turning around and shooting a button on the wall, it will open a wall with backpack in room nearby. Depending on your luck while playing PB you might also get a weapon upgrade, it is quite crucial because being low on ammo pretty sucks and trust me you will need it for such situations like room full of 30-40 monsters, a quite small room. The first level has only one really difficult part where you must fight the enemy in quite a Dead Simple room with 4 pillars but with Arachnotrons on them + multiple enemies concealed behind fake walls, I've died pretty much a lot there. Before you complete the level be sure to get all of the secrets because a Backpack, Soulsphere, Megaarmor and Plasma Rifle are godly additions to your arsenal that early, because the second map can kick you pretty much in the nuts. With the second level you must collect all of the three skull keys, they are scattered around a map + author decided to give you lots surprises to overcome, suddenly you can see dozens of enemies cramped in small places, grenade launcher is pretty good. I mean, when you see a 15+ or so Plasma Zombies that are really a difficult enemy in groups because of their unpredictable attack pattern, incendiary grenades love to cook or fry them really fast, just try to not get hurt because of it. BUT BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU LEAVE A SECOND LEVEL BECAUSE THERE IS A DEATH EXIT SO YOU WILL START A LAST MAP WITH ALL WEAPONS REMOVED, but do not be so mad or sad because you will quickly find a super shotgun with some ammo, nice. You will have to find last two keys to enter a final arena with a Cyberdemon at the defenceless Icon of Sin at the end, the episode ends once you unload anything at expoded brain of the Icon of Sin, then you are sent to the Void...

Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Cursed Cathedral is a semi-difficult map with over 400 monsters plus additional annoying Lost Souls because there are quite a lot Pain Elementals around here waiting for you, this map surely loves A-M-B-U-S-H-E-S. To make you sure that this map can beat you a little, you start in a tight corridor with few Lost Souls just ahead of you (In case of Project Brutality I was so unlucky that these were painful Phantasms, ouch). You will find an upgrade to your weapon or backpack just in this small corridor next to the bars, go down and you will encounter another arena-like fight, this time with dozen or so Imps and Pain Elementals ahead. After the fight you will enter a room full of lava with Plasma Rifle in the center and an outside area, do not feel so cocky because this is a place for some Hell Knights, Arachnotrons, Mancubi and even more annoying Imps. The outdoor area also holds up your first secret to find, this is a Soulsphere seen just when you enter the place, move on the ledge to grab and your first secret, then dont forget about grabbing a blue skull key. Return to the room with blue doors to be opened, this is where ambushes take a really unexpected turn - if you see these eye like sculptures you have to shoot them to open the doors or... activate traps that summon more monsters. Basically if you really want to survive while playing this map you have to find as many secrets as possible because Megaarmors, Soulsphere and additional ammunition are things needed a lot, dont forget about backpack too. To finish the level you do not need to explore all of the rooms and corridors, basically you can ignore quite a large portion of the map to enter a final arena but you will not be able to grab all weapons and secrets then. Unfortunately the map does not end with Project Brutality due to some kind of compatibility issue but once you eliminate the Icon of Sin, all other monsters on map are also dead triggering an end of the level.

Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Tormentors remake of the E2M3 Refinery in the style of Knee-Deep in The ZDoom (or more... The Shores Of ZDoom that was never released, unfortunately), it is an enlarged version of the quite basic Refinery map from DOOM. Basic, because Refinery was a quite simple level to be fair, flat + very basic layout with few secrets that did not make sense (shortcut fake walls between rooms that gave nothing at all) plus a music track that was just Intermission theme. All of it resulted in a pretty bland map that was quite short, had rather weak secrets and even barely fitted to the theme of the episode, but thankfully this remake added lots of things to spice it up, giving hellish climax. First, lets remember that the Deimos moon had been averted by the Hellish presence much more than the Phobos, thus the levels simply want to kill you and the presence of Hellish spawn is much more obvious and painful. This level has two versions, a second is unlocked once you beat the first one - the only difference is a setup of both maps, as first is slower and more horror oriented, while second version just puts way more monsters. Once you begin head to your right, there is a power switch that you have to use to power up the large doors at start, of course because its Deimos Moon, some of the enemies might be even tied... to the walls. Interesting that lots of the enemies here are a real hell spawn or even some sort of spectres, heck the corpses might be even alive for a while when you are next to them, even they might appear out of nowhere. Whole Refinery is basically destroyed, both realities merged - human and demonic, you even need a two types of keys to progress (normal keycards and skull keys), lots of places have hellish growth and flesh. There is a total of four secrets, five if we count the Soulsphere near the ceiling - a box of ammo in the first minute of the map, some Rocket ammo, additional armor bonuses, a Rocket Box - not much but its a honest work.

PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and Hell Keep Revamped by Kan3 for DOOM II Hell On Earth, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset on Man And A Half Difficulty Level, 100% Secrets Achieved. Hell Keep Revamped by Kan3 is a fairly medium sized map that is a mixed version of PSX DOOM Hell Keep with added some quirks like of couse way higher increase of difficulty and better climax to the level. The map is really difficult at the beginning because you are all alone with your starting weapon and already some Imps with Cacodemons attacking you already, so take them off or run away, its up to you. Once inside the titular Hell Keep you have two options to choose - go right or left, the option to the left is a little bit safer but you will still need to use a switch to your right. To the left there is also a first secret to be found (of a total four), when you run across a room from one alcove to another, you will enter a secret area with some ammo and a weapon, but beware because it trigger a Nightmare Imp. To trigger a lowering pillar with a red skull key you must press a switch in the room to the right of starting locations, of course pressing both a switch and a key will trigger the surprises. While the Pinkies coming from lava are not a big problem, it is way more problematic after picking a red skull key because you be hunted by multiple Imps, a Baron of Hell and even a Mancubus in a really small room. With red skull you can progress to enter another small room with an Archvile inside - but you can finish it and the Revenants earlier, just head left in the room full of lava (there is also a Megasphere secret - just dive there, yeah). In the same area there is also a BFG secret that makes a level really easy, you need to use a combination of four switches in proper order - a hint is shown in one of the corridors where walls use the same texture as switches.The final secret is a Plasma Rifle located in a hidden room, all you need to is to shoot an eye switch located in an open area with a yellow skull that activates a trap.
