With the use of a free and open source software called Chataigne you can control nearly any parameter in @ResolumeVJSoftware at timecode stamps of your choosing. Just like how lighting designers and programmers often work with timecode to build cue lists to automate light shows, this is a similar and easy-to-configure solution for VJs who need to automate aspects of live-video operation such as triggering effects and clips - particularly for bands that play to click tracks and certain DJ sets. The way this works is that you program Chataigne to send OSC commands to OSC addresses from Resolume at specified moments of the incoming LTC timecode signal. Nearly everything on the Resolume GUI has an OSC address so basically you can program a virtual MIDI controller whose buttons are pressed at certain times.

I used Chataigne (French word for chestnut) myself when designing and programming the live visuals for @Lovejoyonline's 'One Simple Tour' last year. Without this it would have been very difficult to synchronize the movement of the live camera shots I integrated in the visual content.

Currently it is not possible to create timecoded cue lists in Resolume without third-party software, many of which require payment. Resolume Arena, as of writing, supports synchronizing video playback to SMPTE timecode but doesn't offer anything else when it comes to timecode integration. But it is a software built for busking, after all.
