ALPS swivel roller tip tops are a perfect complement to any saltwater trolling rod. The beauty of these innovative swivel tops is the dual axis rotation which allows the top to work in harmony with the changing bend of the blank. The vertically pivoting tip allows the top to flow with the angle of the bent rod, instead of fighting against it. Side-to-side rotation combats line jump which can damage the frame and line.
These swivel roller tops were designed and manufactured to ALPS exacting standards for unrivaled strength and extreme corrosion resistance. Each top is CNC machined from 6061T-6 billet aluminum while other critical parts (screws, axle pin, rollers) are made from SS316 stainless steel. A ceramic ring at the tip works in conjunction with the roller to dissipate heat that is generated from line drag.
