$Rachels Farm - Behind the Scenes Rachel Ward discusses her journey from conventional to regenerative farmer in the new feature documentary, Rachel’s Farm. After filmmaker and farmer Rachel Ward’s property was damaged by the devastating bushfires of 2019, she felt the need to make a big change. The only problem was, how? “I was plunged into an existential crisis,” Ward explains. “And I went…I have at my fingertips — I am a filmmaker. I am a farmer and I am a consumer. There are actually 3 things that I can do —that I can get active with…that can help move the dial just a tiny fraction in the right direction, I hoped.” In this behind-the-scenes video, Ward reveals how becoming a grandmother influenced her decision, why she enlisted the help of her graphic designer son to create fun motion graphics and what she hopes audiences can learn from the benefits of regenerative farming.
