Which usually would have been one of those random birthdays no one really cares about except that I've considered 28 my lucky number ever since I met Jude on the 28th of October 2013 and the 28th of April 2017. I've also met him this year on the 29th of March - Warner Bros really had to ruin the specific date thing for me - but since this was during my 28th year of life it still counts in my book. On top of that my number at the premiere was 146 and 1+4+6 happens to be 11 which is my only other lucky number as my birthday is 11/11 so we've come full circle [pepesilviameme.jpeg] What I'm trying to say is that my 28th birthday is actually important to me so I just had to make a video for it. 'I'm Still Here' is the song I could relate the most to since I was like 12 and (especially the line "I'm the one now 'cause I'm still here") has only become even more meaningfull to me ever since I tried to off myself. Home: A Jude Law Filmography. [25 years, 1994-2019] Oz 2018-12-29 | Happy 46th birthday to the most important person in my life, who is the sole reason I'm still alive and whose work of the past 25 years inspires me to keep living to experience the next 25.I used every single one of Jude's films (expect for Bent and Presence of Mind, as Jude's only in them for literally half a second in the background, and Rise Of The Guardians, as an animated film simply would have looked weird between 45 live action films) including one/two (depending on where you live) that have yet to come out as well as short films and my all time favorite: The Young Pope.(If you like the megamix, please give the original creator a like/favorite youtube.com/watch?v=vbh8wr5orkQ)I have depression and bpd which makes simply staying alive seem like an impossible task a lot of times but being a fan of Jude makes me not want to give up (yet). Knowing there will always be a new film or TV show with him to look forward makes me may stay alive and life itself more bearable, as stupid as it may sound. Not only does he give me the strenght to keeping going but by talking about it he has also given me the strength to seek out professional help. His laugh or just hearing his voice in general (especially the recording of when he talked to me) makes me incredibly happy no matter how horrible I feel. The day I met him was by far the best day in my entire life, I've never felt happiness this intensively - I didn't even know such a level of joy was possible, to be honest. I'm eternally grateful for everything he has done for me without even knowing and for having been nothing but kind to me when we met. I wish I could give at least 1% back to him. As every single day - I meant year - I hope Jude has (or rather had) the best day ever and that his best year is yet to come. I actually didn't think I'd still be alive today to even make/upload this video, and I almost weren't, but thanks to him all of you will probably/hopefully still have to endure me for a bit longer. May his 47th year of life and 2019 in general be the nothing but good to him. For the 6th time in a row I managed to make a video for Jude Law's birthday and instead of being resonable and sticking with a short one this year, I decided to finally realize the project I had in mind for probably about half a year at least. The next time I want to do something that's longer than 20 seconds, please shoot me. My version of Sony Vegas is 11 years old and I'm already glad when it manages to not crash while rendering 10 seconds or when I can still open a project that has more than like 3 hours of footage in it. So to make this 4 1/2 minutes long video, I had to seperate it into 13 projects and seperate those in the end as well because why would Sony Vegas manage render 25 seconds like it's supposed to, right? What a crazy idea. So after a lot of, and I really mean A L O T, of pain and tears, I finally finished this stupid video and Sony Vegas finally manged to render it completely. Now we both need to rest for the next twelve years. I'm sorry if the video is somewhat boring compared to my more FX-based ones but a) there is no way I make a 4 1/2 minute video with a ton of FX, unless I have like a year of free time and b) I wanted to let the footage shine on its own and only use really basic editing like pan/crop, brightness/contrass and speeding it up/slowing it down. Also I own every single films Jude's in on DVD/Blu-ray (most of them in both versions) and a handful of films simply don't have a Blu-ray release and therefore the quality of the footage isn't always the best but probably still the best you can find.And also a happy new year to everyone who's still reading this. Do you guys remember character study videos that we all did in 2010 when we were still doing videos that are longer than 15 seconds? That's one of these. And my first one as well, I believe. Also, I know, I cannot believe I seriously made a full video again after like 4 years. 2016 is a suprise for all of us. I also realized that I will never do such a long video ever again. Not only was the editing a pain (I'm sorry that this is so raw btw but I love myself and won't do a FX video that's longer than a minute) but also was the rendering such a nightmare. Maybe I should finally stop using Sony Vegas Pro 8, hahahaha hah ha. By the way, I'm sorry it's only 720p. It would barely render in full HD and the parts it did render, were glitching as hell. Also the quality of the footage is something just awful because the scenes were so dark in the original, that a coloring would always ruin it. (even though it isn't really a vent) (feel free to ignore this novel)During the past three or four years, I always felt the need to upload and edit more and more AMVs, to get better and better and nothing I did was good enough for me because I was putting myself under way more pressure than I should have, considering this is just a hobby and something that's supposed to bring me nothing but fun (even though we all know that's not how editing is but you get the idea lmao). This pressure got even worse because of the huge amount of subscribers my anime channel got, which I was/am totally grateful for but I felt/feel like I'm not good enough to deserve so many subscribers. Furthermore, I always felt the need to only edit with FMA because that's what most people subscribed for. So I forced myself to continue editing with it even though I pretty much lost intrest in the footage in 2012/13. Editing became way more of a burden than actual fun. And I hated it but I couldn't get myself to only edit with what I want to edit because I didn't want to disappoint my subscribers. Everytime I uploaded something on this channel, I felt the need to upload something on the AMV channel as well, as stupid as it sounds - which took away the fun I had on this channel as well. Doing something here was suddenly pressure, too, not because of a subscriber number but because uploading something here meant that I now have to focus on the AMVs again and couldn't touch another live action project until I uploaded an AMV.I was so close to quit editing. The only thing I truly love doing. It only made me anxious, stressed and just sad. Nothing I did felt right.Until, one day in October 2013, I read something in a magazine Jude Law said about how he wanted to give up acting because it simply wasn't worth all the stress he had due to paparazzi etc anymore. Just like me, he wanted to give up doing what he loved the most. However, unlike me, who simply was about to give up doing it then, his way of seeing it was 'if I consider giving up doing what I love doing because the work isn't worth it anymore, I simply make the work worth it'. And that's a way of seeing things, I never would have come up with myself. It just hit me so hard out of nowhere because there was a different way of handling things, I simply didn't see it before. And it honestly helped me so much. And seeing Jude a month later in Henry V, seeing how much he enjoyed acting, inspired me so much. I wanted to be that passionate about editing again.Since then I focused more and more on only editing with what I love and only doing the videos I actually want to do and this year I was finally able to give up anime editing completely (at least until I really feel like editing with it again). It took me about 2 years, but I finally was able to let go of all the stress and pain editing caused me for literally nothing, and get back to the pure fun. And I'm finally getting to a point again where I look at my editing and am like 'hey, this isn't bad and you actually made some progress' instead of hating myself because I'm not worth the attention my stuff gets. And I feel like you can actually see that I'm finally having fun again because my videos do get better.And even though editing still is kind of pain and uploaded is still stress for me, it got so much better. And all the fun I have creating videos is finally worth the pain and stress that is still there.
