We made bicycle racks for our Harley-Davidson Pan Americas and rode to the mountains with Charlotte, NC cyclist, Dread Fiyah. Dread owns a bicycle shop in town called The Spoke Easy and is also an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
However, he’s never ridden a Pan Am or been on a motorcycle road trip. So, we showed him the ropes. In return, he exposed us to something new by putting Jake on a gravel bike and the two took a lap around Avery Creek in Brevard, NC.
After the two-wheeled weekend, we sat down to discuss Dreads first experience riding the Pan Am, Jake's first time on a gravel bicycle and the parallels between cycling and motorcycle touring.
